Captovation Check Capture enables organizations to scan checks and facilitate electronic check deposits to their financial institution. To accomplish this, only three items are needed:

  • Check scanner

  • Check scanning software featuring Image Cash Letter (ICL) output

  • Image exchange agreement with your financial institution

Reduce Trips to the Bank

Use Check Capture to eliminate those inconvenient, costly, yet necessary trips to your bank to deposit checks. Enjoy the convenience of depositing your checks electronically. Once Check Capture completes capturing the check images and MICR data, it outputs an ICL file, which is then uploaded to your financial institution for deposit.

Integrate Client Systems

Along with producing an ICL for deposit, Check Capture can also output any data file required to update your accounting system. Check Capture features user-definable fields that allow users to key in relevant accounts receivable information after scanning. Customer account information can also be retrieved using Check Capture’s built-in database lookup (query) capabilities.

Check Capture can be directly integrated with virtually any electronic document management system (EDMS). If direct support is not available, take advantage of Check Capture’s architecture to fully integrate with your organization’s EDMS or image archive.

Checks received at your location can be imaged with a check scanner powered by Captovation Check Capture. The check images and data are then sent to your financial institution in the form of an image cash letter (ICL) for deposit. At the same time, Check Capture can output the necessary data to archive the check images and data as well as update an accounting system.
