* The processor’s speed has a dramatic impact on this component’s performance.

All workstations require at least 500 MB of free hard disk space.
For multi-user systems, a SQL database server is required (MS-SQL 6.5 or above, Oracle 8.03 or above, or Sybase Adaptive Server 11) and a minimum of a 100MB network.

Scan for Adrenaline requires either a hardware or software based Kofax Adrenaline or VRS scanning engine. (A Kofax engine is NOT needed for Scan for ISIS.)
Web Capture Server requires Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) version 4.0 or above
Web Capture Client requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or above (5.5 recommended) and a TWAIN compliant device. In addition, the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.5.0 or above must be installed on any computer using Web Capture Administration.
Check Capture requires one of the following supported scanners: Digital Check TS215 through TS400 series, Canon CR-55 or CR-180, and the Kodak i6030, 6060, or 6090.

Scanner Model Database

Captovation Scan licenses consist of 5 levels, which are determined based on the scanner manufacturer’s speed rating in images per minute (ipm) when scanning letter size (8 ½” x 11”) paper at 200 DPI in landscape mode. To confirm the correct Level for a particular scanner, please visit the following web page:

Note: There are some exceptions where the Scanner Level has been decreased for certain scanner models.
