an industry leading Application Service Provider (ASP) of document/content
management solutions and Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Captovation, developer of

systems, announced today the formation of a complete, Internet-enabled service
offering that combines software solutions from the two companies.
The
service offering consists of Captovation’s eCapture component called ecNet,
which is a true, distributed browser-based capture solution, and CyLex’s i-DOX
document/content management solution. CyLex
hosts ecNet from their data centers. Customers
connect to the ecNet Server and automatically download the ecNet Client which
gives them the ability to scan and index documents from a remote site. After the documents have been scanned and indexed, they are
sent over the Internet back to the ecNet Server at CyLex’s data centers. Then,
the documents are immediately archived into the i-DOX vault. Once the document
images have been archived into i-DOX, they can be searched and retrieved by
