Integrates eCapture with KODAK i600 Series Scanners to Create ROCHESTER, NY, and MINNEAPOLIS, MN, July 21, 2004 - Eastman Kodak Company and Captovation, a leading provider of production-level and browser-based document capture software, announce the integration of Captovation's eCapture with the recently launched KODAK i600 Series of mid-range desktop production scanners. Availability of this integration complements Kodak's built-in Perfect Page with iThresholding and allows customers to choose which image-processing solution meets the particular demands of their application. eCapture's
production-level scanning component - ecScan - supports the i600 Series Scanners
through ISIS and Kofax Adrenaline/VRS. This gives KODAK i600 users a choice in
scanning interfaces, allowing them to take advantage of the unique capabilities
of each platform. Through these scanner configurations, ecScan maintains the
scanners' rated speed of up to 120 pages per minute.
