KODAK i1200 and i1300 Series Scanners Supported by Captovation^® Capture Software

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Jan. 2, 2007 —Eastman Kodak Company, a leader in document imaging, and Captovation, a developer of document and check capture software, announced that Captovation’s flagship document capture system, Captovation^® Capture, has been fully integrated with the award-winning KODAK i1200 and i1300 Series Scanners.

These Kodak designed and manufactured scanners deliver high image quality, speed, and affordability to both the workgroup and departmental scanning segments in the smallest operational workspace available. Each series features a simplex and duplex model and offers tilt and scan, one touch scanning, and an attachable tethered flatbed accessory.  The i1220 Scanner captured the AIIM “Best of Show” award for a hardware capture product in the 26-40 pages-per-minute category and has received “Best of the Best 2006” recognition from Office Solutions Magazine.  Both the i1200 and i1300 Scanner Series earned “Editor’s Choice” designations from Better Buys for Business Magazine in its 2006 Scan-to-File Guide. 

The attractive price point and small footprint make the KODAK i1200 and i1300 Scanners ideal for distributed desktop scanning, and therefore a perfect complement to Captovation’s browser-based capture system— Captovation^® Web Capture.  Web Capture supports these scanners through the TWAIN interface.
