Captovation Announces Distributor Agreement with Pericom Imaging
Agreement allows Captovation to expand its market presence to Southeast Asia

Minneapolis, MN, November 1, 2002 – Captovation, a developer of production-level and Internet-based document capture software, announced today that Pericom Group of Companies (www.pericomimaging.com), a Singapore-based corporation, has agreed to become a Value Added Distributor (VAD) for Captovation. As a Captovation VAD, Pericom will be responsible for introducing Captovation’s flagship document capture product, eCapture, to customer markets in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Hong Kong.

Pericom’s primary focus will be to recruit and sign up new eCapture resellers within their sales regions by leveraging their existing reseller base. Pericom’s Professional Services Group will provide pre- and post-sale software support, as well as consulting, system design, software development, hardware selection and integration, installation, conversion services, and training for all eCapture installations.

Pericom will integrate eCapture with their PericomSolution2000 to provide customers with a complete document management system. PericomSolution2000 is an end-to-end document imaging system that includes document capture, forms processing, publishing,

document management and workflow. Pericom will also offer Captovation’s eCapture as the front-end capture solution for the other document management systems they support, which include the DocuWare^® document management system. These systems will complement and support Bell & Howell, Ricoh, Canon and Fujitsu scanners – all sold and supported currently by Pericom.
